Do I need to install anything?

The web app works in any modern browser with no installation required. We also offer a Chrome extension for an in-CRM experience — you can install it from the Chrome Web Store after creating your account.

Yes. Every new account gets a free trial with 10 extraction credits to test the full platform — no credit card required.

What types of notes can I submit?

ScribbleIQ accepts typed text, photos of handwritten notes, uploaded documents (PDF, Word, text files), and integrations with meeting recorders like Circleback, Fireflies, and Avoma.

How accurate is the AI extraction?

Accuracy depends on the quality and legibility of your notes. For typed notes, extraction is typically 95%+ accurate. Handwritten notes vary by legibility, but our context profiles (your industry terms, contacts, and vendors) significantly improve results. We always recommend a quick review before pushing to your CRM.

What are context profiles?

Context profiles are custom configurations that teach ScribbleIQ about your business. During onboarding, you provide your industry, common vendors, products, and key contacts. The AI uses this context to better interpret your notes — for example, recognizing that "HW" means "Honeywell" in your security industry context.

Can I edit extracted data before pushing to my CRM?

Absolutely. After extraction, you'll see a review screen with all extracted fields. You can edit any field, add missing information, or remove incorrect data before pushing to your CRM.

What counts as one credit?

Accepted Answer

One credit is consumed each time you submit a note for AI extraction and enrichment. If you submit the same note multiple times (for example, after editing it), each submission uses one credit.

Do unused credits roll over?

Accepted Answer

No. Unused credits expire at the end of each monthly billing cycle. This keeps our pricing simple and predictable. If you need extra credits mid-month, you can purchase add-on packs of 10 credits for $5.

Can I change my plan?

Yes. You can upgrade at any time and the change takes effect immediately (prorated for the remainder of your billing cycle). Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

How do I cancel?

You can cancel your subscription from your account settings at any time. Your access continues through the end of your current billing cycle. We retain your data for 30 days after cancellation in case you want to come back.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest. Access to our infrastructure is restricted via Tailscale VPN, and we monitor our systems 24/7 with Prometheus and Grafana.

Do you use my notes to train AI models?

No. Your meeting notes and extracted data are never used to train or fine-tune any AI models. Your data is processed through the Anthropic Claude API under a data processing agreement that also prohibits training on your content.

Who can see my data?

Only you (and your team admins on Team plans) can see your data. ScribbleIQ support staff may access your account data only with your explicit permission for troubleshooting purposes.
