1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ScribbleIQ (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

ScribbleIQ is operated by ScribbleIQ (“we”, “our”, “us”). The Service is available at scribbleiq.ai and related subdomains.

2. Description of Service

ScribbleIQ is an AI-powered tool that captures meeting notes in various formats (typed text, handwritten photos, file uploads) and uses artificial intelligence to extract structured data for CRM systems. The Service includes note capture, AI extraction, contact/company enrichment, and CRM field mapping.

3. Account Registration

To use ScribbleIQ, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You may register using email/password or through third-party OAuth providers (Google, Microsoft).

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscription Plans & Credits

ScribbleIQ offers subscription plans with credit-based usage:

  • Starter — $9.99/month, 25 credits
  • Pro — $29.99/month, 150 credits
  • Team — $24.99/user/month (5+ seats), 400 credits/user
  • Enterprise — Custom pricing, contact sales

Each AI extraction consumes one credit. Credits do not roll over between billing cycles. Additional credit packs may be purchased at any time. All plans include full CRM connectivity at no additional cost.

5. Payment & Billing

Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. All payments are non-refundable except as required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Add-on credit packs are billed immediately upon purchase.

If payment fails, we will attempt to charge again. After 7 days of failed payments, your account may be downgraded to a limited state until payment is resolved.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service beyond normal API usage
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized users
  • Upload content that contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Use the Service to store or process data you are not authorized to handle
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

7. Your Data

You retain all ownership rights to the data you submit to ScribbleIQ, including meeting notes, extracted data, and context profiles. We do not claim ownership of your content.

You grant ScribbleIQ a limited license to process, store, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This includes sending notes to AI processing services and enrichment providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any data you provide to the Service, including meeting notes that may contain third-party personal information.

8. Data Review and Approval

ScribbleIQ uses artificial intelligence to extract and structure information from notes, images, and voice recordings that you provide. Before any extracted data is submitted to your connected CRM or third-party system, you are presented with a preview of the structured data and given the opportunity to review, edit, correct, or reject it.

By confirming and submitting extracted data, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the information and accept responsibility for its accuracy and completeness.

9. Content Responsibility

User-Generated Content. You are solely responsible for the content of the notes, recordings, images, and other materials you submit to ScribbleIQ for processing (“Input Content”), as well as any modifications you make to the extracted data before or after submission to your CRM (“Output Content”). ScribbleIQ does not author, endorse, verify, or assume liability for the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of your Input Content or Output Content.

Prohibited Content. You agree not to submit Input Content that contains:

  • Defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or threatening language directed at any individual or group
  • Content that violates any applicable law or regulation, including but not limited to anti-discrimination, privacy, and data protection laws
  • Content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Personally sensitive information about third parties that you do not have authorization to process

While ScribbleIQ employs automated content filtering to detect and remove inappropriate language from extracted output, these filters are provided as a courtesy and do not constitute a guarantee. You remain responsible for all content submitted to your CRM through ScribbleIQ.

10. AI Extraction Accuracy

ScribbleIQ uses artificial intelligence to extract data from meeting notes. While we strive for high accuracy, AI extraction is not perfect. You acknowledge that:

  • Extracted data should be reviewed before pushing to CRM systems
  • Handwritten note accuracy depends on legibility and context profile completeness
  • Enrichment data from third-party providers may be incomplete or outdated
  • ScribbleIQ is not liable for errors in extracted or enriched data

The review step before CRM push is a core feature, not a limitation — it ensures data quality while saving the majority of manual entry time.

11. AI Processing & Content Safety

Artificial Intelligence Limitations. ScribbleIQ uses artificial intelligence to process and structure your Input Content. AI-based extraction is inherently probabilistic and may occasionally produce errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. ScribbleIQ does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated extractions and provides the review-and-edit workflow specifically so that you may verify and correct extracted data before it is submitted to your CRM.

Content Safety Measures. ScribbleIQ employs content safety measures including bias prevention, profanity filtering, and content sanitization to promote professional and appropriate CRM data. These measures may modify extracted output by removing profanity, inappropriate language, or subjective commentary. However, these measures are not infallible. You agree that your use of ScribbleIQ's AI features is at your own risk and subject to the limitations described herein.

12. CRM Integration

ScribbleIQ connects to third-party CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, and others) via OAuth and API integrations. You authorize ScribbleIQ to create and update records in your CRM on your behalf when you explicitly click “Push to CRM”.

ScribbleIQ does not automatically modify CRM records without your confirmation. You are responsible for reviewing data before pushing to your CRM.

13. Limitation of Liability for CRM Data

ScribbleIQ facilitates the transfer of structured data to third-party CRM platforms at your direction. ScribbleIQ is not responsible for:

  • The accuracy of data entered into your CRM, as you have reviewed and approved all data prior to submission
  • Any consequences arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate data in your CRM records
  • The actions of any CRM platform or third-party service with respect to your data after submission
  • Any loss of data resulting from CRM platform outages, API changes, or service disruptions

14. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScribbleIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ScribbleIQ, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:

  • Your Input Content or Output Content
  • Your use of ScribbleIQ in violation of these Terms
  • Any data you submit to a CRM or third-party system through ScribbleIQ
  • Your violation of any applicable law or regulation in connection with your use of ScribbleIQ

17. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with 30 days' notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your data will be retained for 30 days to allow for export, after which it will be permanently deleted.

18. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of New York.
